DXB to NRT
During my latest journey from Dubai Airport [DXB] to Tokyo Narita [NRT] with Emirates. The flight time was 11 hours and 45 minutes, that is a lot of time for eating, drinking, sleeping, working and watching movies. In order to enjoy every moment on your Emirates flight, renowned for its opulence and outstanding service, Emirates ensures every passenger, including those with autism and other disabilities, enjoys a memorable and comfortable flight.
The In-Flight Drinks Menu

Flying in the Emirates Business Class cabin provides Autism-Inclusive Travel Insights and a more personal space, a lie-flat seat and overall less passengers than the economy class cabin. Let’s dive into the delectable world of Emirates’ business class dining, offering tips and insights tailored for autism travellers to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
The On-Board Snack
Emirates provides a set time meal service in the Business Class cabin (although First Class is Dine-on-Demand), on this particularly long flight, the menu was separated into a snack option and a meal option. It is up to you which way around you have the options, but there is a choice of three starters, three main courses and three desserts plus an optional Cheese board.
I opted for the Japanese cuisine options to prepare myself for potentially what I would be eating for most of the week of my trip to Japan. The below images are the mixed Sushi dish that I selected for my snack option onboard Emirates Business Class to Tokyo Narita.

Picture this: a beautifully presented Bento Box, meticulously arranged and bursting with a variety of flavours. It’s a colour palette of culinary delights, representing the rich culture and tradition of Japan.

On Board WiFi

Once the meal service onboard Emirates Business Class is completed, you’re ready to watch a movie or connect to the onboard WIFI. I have personally used NordVPN for a several years and I highly recommend it. Using a VPN connection can provide you with several benefits.
Using a Virtual Private Network or VPN.
Here are a few reasons why using NordVPN on airplane WIFI can be useful:
- Enhanced Security: When connected to public WiFi networks, such as airplane WiFi, there is a risk of potential hackers intercepting your data. On that note, by using NordVPN, your internet traffic is encrypted and routed through a secure server, making it significantly more difficult for hackers to access your personal information.
- NordVPN offers a range of advanced security features, including military-grade encryption, an automatic kill switch, and a strict no-logs policy, making it a reliable and secure choice.
- Privacy Protection: Public WiFi networks may not offer the same level of privacy as your home network. With NordVPN, you can browse the internet, use social media platforms, and communicate through messaging apps like WhatsApp with added privacy and anonymity.
- NordVPN also offers fast and reliable connections, with servers in over 60 countries.
- Geo-restriction Bypass: Some websites and online services may have geo-restrictions that limit access based on your location.
- NordVPN offers dedicated apps for all major operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, making it easy to use on any device. It also offers an extensive knowledge base and responsive customer support.
Connecting through a VPN.
When you connect through a NordVPN server, it masks your IP address and bypasses these restrictions. In general, you have the ability to access content and services that the country you are flying over or landing in may otherwise restrict. Read this article about Intramuros in Manila, Philippines.
If I access blocked websites: In certain countries, certain websites and online services may be blocked or censored. However, by using NordVPN, you can gain access to these websites and enjoy unrestricted browsing while in the air. It’s important to note that using NordVPN on airplane WIFI is not limited to just browsing the internet. You can also use a NordVPN connection to access your work emails or documents securely, making it a helpful tool for business travellers.
In conclusion, using a NordVPN connection on airplane WIFI provides added security, privacy, and access to geo-restricted or blocked content. It ensures a safer and more private browsing experience, allowing you to enjoy social media, messaging apps, and even work-related tasks with peace of mind.
If you are one of those people like me who need Autism-Inclusive Travel Insights and also like me who cannot remember all your passwords, in any case, who can remember all those super long mixes of lowercase, UPPERCASE, numbers, words and phrases we’re all supposed to be using these days. That is where NordPass comes in. NordPass is primarily a password manager and not a VPN service. But it works hand-in-hand with NordVPN and NordLocker which is a file encryption storage server in the cloud with end to end encryption.
